Life

DESIGN AS ART

Ty grew up enjoying the world around her. She is a lover of culture, creativity and fun experiences.

Over the years, she grew an appreciation for the diversity in art forms. Since gaining a better understanding of art, she has grown a desire to share her perceptions of art/design with the world.

Her journey now, is to share design as a form of art. Ty wants to share art/design with people and encourage them to see the artist/ designer within themselves and the communities around them.

Her perceptions of art were influenced by the culture and history around her; so those influences are reflective in her work.

For years, Ty considered hosting education programs centered around creativity. For years, she absorbed information about Black History. Now she is putting the two to use.

One recent incident, was the final push that moved her to get to work.

Pass on the creative mind

Ty loves to create and she loves to design. Some of the ways that she expressed myself over the years have been through: hairstyles, fashion, reels, nail design, semi- modeling and soooo much more.

Through REKEMT programs we hope to fire the creativity in multi-generational minds.
